The Ogun State Police Command has disclosed that they have commenced intensive search to track down the social media user who posted a get-rich-quick video on the social networking service, Facebook, from where four teenagers learnt money ritual.
This was made known by the Police Public Relations Officer (PRO) in the state, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, during an interview with The Punch.
Recall that the suspects said they saw the video on Facebook. We are working to arrest them (the social media user),” the police image-maker said.
The four teenage boys were nabbed last month for slaughtering Sofiat Kehinde, and burning her head for money ritual. One of the main culprits said they got the guidelines on social media, Facebook to be precise.
Mustekeem, who used to attend the same Islamic society (Asalatu) with late Sofiat, was the arrow head of the heinous act, and was the one who brought the guidelines from Facebook and pestered the other (Soliu Majekodunmi) to carry out the act.
