There seems to be no end to the continuous abduction of people in the North as gunmen stormed Rigachikun community of Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Wednesday morning, kidnapping a security personnel and four people.
The attack which was confirmed by an eyewitness, said that the gunmen invaded the community around 1am, shooting sporadically in the air to cause panic.
A housewife, who pleaded for anonymity, said that one of the victims is her husband’s friend.
She said; “We couldn’t sleep due to gun sound that lasted for minutes. Four people were abducted, including a security operative, who lives with us in the community”
Similarly, a resident who simply identified himself as Zaid said that the bandits injured one other person who was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
He explained that the injured victim’s whose wife and child were abducted later returned home.
