The Lagos State Taskforce have nabbed two suspected serial pickpockets along Oshodi/Ikeja Along axis.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by the Lagos State Taskforce Chairman, CSP Shola Jejeloye, he noted that the suspects disclosed they make 80,000 Naira daily from their operations, using commercial vehicle (Danfo) as a guise.
The Taskforce officers who made the arrest said the suspects, who were roaming the area in their Danfo commercial bus, looked suspicious. The driver and the two male passengers seemed uneasy after driving past the officers.
The suspects, one Sodiq Olagoke, 25, and Lucas Patrick, 26 were both arrested by operatives of the Lagos State Taskforce in the early hours of Tuesday, March 1.
Jejeloye vowed that the Agency will make the state uninhabitable for all criminal elements.
They had dispossessed eight unsuspecting commuters of their phones around Oshodi/Ikeja Along axis before they were arrested.
