IPOB: Soludo Sets Up 15-Member Peace Commission To Tackle Issue Of Unrest In Anambra

Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo has set up a 15- member Truth, Justice and Peace Commission to deal with the unrest caused by the activities of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB).

 

Former head of the human rights activist, Professor Chidi Odinkalu is the chairman while Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu will serve as secretary.

 

Other members of the committee are: Charles Oputa (Charley boy); Onyeka Onwenu; Dr. Joe Nwaorgu; Dr. Udenta Udenta; Dr. Uju Agomoh; Rev. Fr (Msgnr); Jerome Madueke and Canon Dr. Okechukwu C. Obi-Okoye.

 

The committee also hads Dr. John Out; Mr. Ngozi Odumuko; Dr. Joe Abah, Mr. Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu; Mr. Sam Egwuatu and Prof. Joseph Ikechebelu as members.

Nigerian Army Retires 329 Personnel

The Nigerian military on Friday retired 329 senior Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs).   The retirees were charged to continue showing unalloyed loyalty to the nation.
