At least four persons have been killed during an attack by gunmen operating on motorcycles in Ondo State.
It was gathered that the shooting and killing occurred around Sabo and Igba area of Ondo town and claimed the lives of tea sellers, a commercial driver and roadside traders.
A source who spoke on the fresh attack said the shooting might be as a result of rival cult group clash while another source claimed the mission of the gunmen was unknown as they shot sporadically.
The killings have been confirmed by a Police source in the state who said the killing is a result of armed robbery but the Ondo Police spokesman, SP Fumilayo Odunlami, said a statement would be released on the matter after getting a proper brief.
The incident comes a few days after gunmen attacked a catholic church in Owo, Ondo State, killing many worshippers and injuring several others.
