Former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani, has raised an alarm over the spate of insecurity in Kaduna State.
In a post shared on his Facebook page, the former senator said terrorists and bandits now kidnap and kill at any time and place of their choice.
He said the unknown gunmen have razed down villages and impoverished families through ransom payments.
According to Shehu, those who blindly supported and defended the failure of the Government also have some stain of blood on their hands.
The former senator added he has lost hope in the current government and the only thing to expect from them is their exit as Nigerians look forward to the next government.
He wrote: “The terrorists kidnap and kill at the time and place of their choice. They have razed down villages and impoverished families through ransom payments. Terrorists have become a shadow Government.
“I spoke as a lone Ranger and have been insulted and defamed for telling the truth about our state and now we are living the reality that was ignored.
“Those who blindly supported and defended the failure of the Government also have some stain of blood on their hands.
“However, it’s instructive to note that recently, the kidnapping and killings of Catholic priests in the state by terrorists has become systemic.
“I have lost hope that this Government, the only thing to expect from them is to go. We look ahead to the next Government to save our country and protect our people.”
