Police detectives from the Agbarho Division in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State have arrested two suspects, Felix Itoje and a gang armourer, Israel Adam.
The Police also recovered one locally made double barrel gun from the suspects, who are said to be from the mechanic village, Warri-Sapele road in Uvwie Local Government Area.
The Police Command confirmed the report in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer DSP Bright Edafe.
He said, “During investigation, the suspect confessed to the kidnap of one woman (name withheld) on 13/9/2022.
“Acting on the suspect’s confession, one additional suspect and armourer of the gang named Israel Adam ‘m’ aged 22yrs of Uvwiamuge in Agbarho, Ughelli North LGA was arrested and one locally made double barrel gun was recovered.
“Suspects are in custody and investigation is ongoing.”
