Kebbi State Police Command on Thursday confirmed the death of three of its personnel in a ghastly motor accident that occurred along Argungu, Jega road on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
It was gathered that the accident also claimed the lives of three other civilians and four motorcyclists who are consumed by the inferno.
SP Nafiu Abubakar, in a statement issued, said that policemen attached to Echo bank Bullivian van fell victims when a Toyota Carina E collided with other cars suspected to be pursued by personnel of customs, Kebbi state command on alleged smuggling of PMS.
Upon receipt of what happened, CP Ahmed Magaji Kontagora of the Kebbi police command mobilised to the scene of the accident condoled with the families and ordered an immediate investigation into the root cause of the accident.
However, as of the time of filling this report, no official statement from the Kebbi state command of Nigeria customs.
