Gunmen suspected to be armed robbers k!lled a businessman, Cletus Alake, in his office in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The businessman was said to have been trailed to his office located opposite Ekeki Motor Park in the early hours of Monday, July 22, 2024, and st@bbed several times in the head until he d!ed.
The assailants were said to have left with an undisclosed amount of money, his mobile phone and a Highlander jeep, packed opposite the office.
His body was discovered by his workers who resumed duty.
The deceased, in his late 40s, was said to be a quiet businessman who had other businesses in the metropolis.
The spokesman of the State Police Command, ASP Musa Mohammed, said investigation into the matter had begun.
