NSCDC bursts criminal hideout, recover 20 railway sleepers, vehicle in Kaduna community

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Kaduna State Command has recovered 20 railway sleepers and a vehicle from vandals in Urgwan Sunday, Chikun Local Government Areas of Kaduna State

The Commandant, NSCDC Kaduna State Command, NB Muhammadu Dansadau while briefing newsmen at the NSCDC Kaduna State Headquarters said the suspects took to their heel as soon as they saw the NSCDC personnel

He said the command has taken into custody, the vehicle with registration number: DKU 774XG carrying the recovered 20 railway sleepers.

“We received an intelligent information around 11pm about the activities of railway sleepers vandals at Urgwan Sunday community in Chikun Local Government Areas of Kaduna State.

“Immediately, our personnel moves to the location to arrest the suspects together with the exhibits.

” However, the suspects upon sighting our personnel, took to their heels, leaving 20 railway sleepers, vehicle.” He said

The Commandant while assuring residents of the state protection of lives, property and Critical National Assets and Infrastructure, pleads with the residents of the state to always report suspicious faces and criminals around their environment for immediate arrest and prosecution.
