JAMB official missing after kidnappers’ ambush

A suspected kidnapping incident occurred on the Jos-Abuja road on April 28, 2025, when three individuals, claiming to be staff of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), were ambushed by armed assailants.

It was gathered that at approximately 7:15 PM, the three men were en route from Abuja to Jos when their vehicle was attacked by suspected kidnappers.

Two of the men managed to flee into the surrounding forest, but one of them went missing during the assault.

Army troops have initiated a combing operation in the forest to locate and rescue the missing victim.
