Gunmen Abduct Farmer, Kill Son in Brutal Kaduna Village Attack

Unknown assailants invaded a remote settlement on the outskirts of Doka Maijama’a village in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, abducting a 60-year-old man, Malam Isiya Abdullahi and killing his son during the attack.

Sources said that the incident occurred around 2: 00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2 2025, when the attackers, armed with cutlasses and other dangerous weapons, stormed the residence of Malam Abdullahi and abducted him to an unknown destination.

His 25-year-old son, Suleiman Isiya, was reportedly stabbed multiple times while trying to resist the attack.

He sustained fatal injuries and was later confirmed dead at a nearby hospital.

The Nigerian troops in collaboration with other security outfits, to locate and rescue the abducted victim.
