Ekpa, who claim to be the Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in-Exile BRGIE 2023, in a post on X, formerly Twitter on Monday, displayed a video of what the Biafra Liberation Army looks like.

In the video, masked armed men with dangerous weapons were on display and he wrote: “I hereby wish to share the look of the Biafra Liberation Army for the very time!
“Wait for the day of the official launching & unveiling! I want to assure Biafra people that your land is protected and sealed!
“@HQNigerianArmy of Nigeria looks like! Biafra Government! Peace, Unity, Progress & Equity!”

Ekpa is a Nigerian-born Finnish lawyer, political activist and former athlete. He is one of the current leaders of the Biafra independence movement.
He is the designated Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile (BRGIE) organization.

On Sunday, Ekpa, threatened a 3-week civil disobedience in protest over the continued detention of IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

He declared that if Nnamdi Kanu and other Biafrans held in Nigerian state custody are not released and all roadblocks and checkpoints in the southeast are not dismantled by September 15, 2023, the people will engage in another three weeks of civil disobedience, including a curfew.
