NSCDC Rescues 14-Year Old Girl Allegedly Trafficked From Enugu

Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Osun State Command, says they have rescued a 14-year old girl while roaming around the streets of Ejigbo after she escaped from captive.

The NSCDC Public Relations Officer of the Osun State Command, Olabisi Atanda confirmed this on Monday.

Atanda said that the young girl told the agency that she escaped from the captivity of a Benin national, identified as Samuel, who took her from Enugu.

The suspect, Samuel, was said to be into interior decoration, Plaster of Paris (POP).

The suspect, according to Atanda, allegedly visited the house of Pamela’s parents in Enugu and promised to take her to Lagos for hairdressing training. Samuel forcefully put a charmed bangle on Pamela’s wrist and she became unconscious. She later found herself at Ejigbo Local Government in Osun State.
