Armed bandits have lay siege on Nigerian Army troops stationed around Rafin Taba in Giwa Local Government Area (LGA) of Kaduna State and killed 11 soldiers.
It was gathered that the terrorists also wounded about 20 of the security personnel.
In the daring attack on Monday, Kaduna State Vigilance Service members were also murdered.
Several equipments were damaged in the attack that lasted hours.
Report stated that aside attacking in large numbers, the bandits were armed with heavy armament including Rocket-Propelled Grenade (RPGs), explosives and special weapons.
