Former Italy star Gianfranco Zola has tipped Inter Milan to lift this season’s Serie A title.
The defending champions trail leaders AC Milan.
But Zola told La Gazzetta dello Sport: “I would put Inter in a slight advantage: for the staff and because they already know how to win since they have the Scudetto on their chest.
“However, Milan and Napoli have also proved to be competitive. The main quality of (Stefano) Pioli’s team is their unscrupulousness. Napoli have an excellent squad and are the most balanced team.
“Inter have the winning mentality of the two years of football. I worked with (Antonio) Conte and (Simone) Inzaghi was very good. Among the Azzurri there is (Lorenzo) Insigne who will do everything to bring the long-awaited championship to the city before saying goodbye.”
