The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Jigawa State Command, has deployed 1,050 personnel to beef up security during the Eid-el-Fitr celebration across the state.
This was in a press statement signed by the command Public Relations Officer, CSC. Adamu Shehu, issued to DAILY POST.
He said this is part of the command’s efforts to ensure the Eid celebration is conducted without any hitch on Friday 21st or Saturday 22nd of April, 2023.
According to the statement, “The State Commandant Musa Alhaji Mala said that his personnel will be deployed to strategic locations to provide adequate and effective security and 24-hr surveillance throughout the festivity across the nooks and crannies of the State to ensure a crime-free Eid el fitr celebrations.”
He said the command would work with other law enforcement agencies to provide watertight security.
The command, therefore, urged the general public to give maximum cooperation to the officers conducting the exercise.
He also advised parents to supervise the activities and movements of their wards, especially youth and children.
