Security Forces Intercept Oil-Theft Syndicate In Delta State

Security operatives have intercepted an oil theft syndicate operating in the Oporoza area of Delta State.

The operation was carried out by Tompolo’s Tantita Security Service, and it resulted in the seizure of a massive vessel transporting illegal crude oil in the creeks of the Niger Delta.

This report was confirmed by Arise Television on Monday.

It is worth noting that in June, former militant leader Asari Dokubo made allegations suggesting that the Nigerian Army and Navy were responsible for 99 percent of oil theft in the Niger Delta region.

However, both the Nigerian Army and Navy denied Dokubo’s claims, as incidents of oil theft have persisted in the area.
