Kidnappers on Thursday abducted a father and his son in Isanlu-Isin town, Isin Local Government of Kwara State.
The two victims were identified as one Femi Ajayi of Baptist Grammar School, Isanlu-Isin, and his father.
Recall that the incident occurred at about 7 pm on Thursday.
The kidnappers allegedly damaged their vehicle and took away the two victims to an unknown destination.
The spokesman of the state police command, Okasanmi Ajayi, confirmed the development.
He said “the police commissioner, Ebun Oluwarotimi Adelesi, has dispatched teams of policemen supported by hunters and vigilante to the town for possible search and rescue of the abductees, please.”
Recall that at the maiden press briefing on assumption of duty in the state, the police commissioner declared that there will be no breathing space for criminals and cultists in the state anymore.
