The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has reacted to a trending video of a man in mufti firing shots from an AK-47 at Ladipo market today October 17.
A video that is currently going viral shows the man firing the shots as the traders celebrated the reopening of the market that was sealed by the Lagos state government on September 27 over environmental offences.
The man joined the traders to celebrate the reopening and in the process fired some shots into the air. It is unclear if he is a police officer.
Reacting to the video, Adejobi said the man will be identified by the Lagos state police command. He added that he doubts the man is a police officer.
