Unknown assailants suspected to be ritualists have reportedly killed a 13-year-old girl identified as Peace Chima Alfred in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State.
It was gathered that the victim was brutally murdered after she was sent on an errand by her parents to Okehi from Amaku Mbah community, all in Etche LGA.
According to a post by one Oluo Lucky, dated November 8, 2023, the victim was kidnapped by the assailants, taken to an uncompleted building in Umuolu Okehi where she was killed, slaughtered and buried in a shallow grave.
He wrote;
“I saw you last in the church two Sundays ago as I travelled to village and I could remembered when I asked you to close your eyes during prayers session,” the post reads.
“Today your parents sent you to buy something at Okehi 1 and on your way coming back they snatched you and ran inside one uncompleted building at umuolu Okehi 1 where you were killed, butchered and buried inside bush along federal road by Okehi-Amaku Mba road.
“The innocent little girl known as Peace Chima Alfred is 13 years old and was killed by unknown persons that will later be known by God’s Grace.
“Therefore, i use this medium to call on the Chairman of Etche LGA of Rivers State, Hon Obinna Anyanwu, the councillor representing Mba ward 18, Hon Egbule ThankGod and councillor representing Okehi ward 11, Hon Mrs. Gift Nwankwo. Also, the Divisional Police Headquarters Okehi to help fetch those killers that killed an innocent girl for nothing. May your soul Rest In Prefect Peace and may your killers never have peace! Amen.”
